| Ophrys persephonae PAULUS | ||||
| Fam.: Orchidaceae / Orchid Family |
| Genus: Ophrys L. |
As an endemism of Rhodes is Ophrys persephonae, which was described by Prof. Paulus in 2001 in Ber.Arbeitskrs.Heim.Orchid. 18 (1): 38-86. He calls it a plant of light woods, and this is usually the case, but at Epta Piges and Haraki I found it in open phrygana, too. |
