| Langspornige Orchideen wie Platanthera, Gymnadenia und Anacamptis werden in der Dämmerung von größeren Nachtschmetterlingen wie Schwärmern (Sphingidae) und Eulenfaltern (Noctuidae) besucht. Im Lauf der Entwicklunggeschichte hat eine gegenseitige Anpassung des langen Rüssels der Falter und des Sporns der Orchideen stattgefunden. Auf den unteren Bildern dieses Blocks von Bildern sind an den Rüssel der Falter geklebte Pollenpakete der Orchidee zu sehen. | ||

| Long-spured orchids like Platanthera, Gymnadenia and Anacamptis
are visited by bigger moths like Sphingidae and Noctuidae in the dawn. During the
evolution a mutual adaption of the long proboscis of the moths and the spur of
the orchids took place. In the lowest images of this block of photos you can see
orchid pollines colled at the moth's proboscis. |
