The flower of Crocus flavus is dark yellow, usually the outer petals carry a dark drawing. A striking attribute are the V-shaped stamens, as visible in Fig. 7 to 9. The width of the leaves is 2 to 4 millimeters. It comes from Southeastern Europe and Turkey. Since 1579 it is also cultivated in gardens. | ||
