Anacamptis berica wurde von Doro aus den Colli (Hügel) Berici in der italienischen Provinz Vicenza beschrieben. Sie ist großblütiger und früher blühend als Anacamptis pyramidalis, und ihre Blüten sind dunkler gefärbt. Der Autor hat sie als Art beschrieben, ich hätte den Unterartrang vorgezogen. Die Sippe kommt in weiteren Teilen Italiens vor, zum Beispiel wurde sie bereits im Promontorio del Gargano gefunden.

Anacamptis berica has been described by Doro from the Colli (hills) Berici in the Italian Province of Vicenza. It has bigger flowers than Anacamptis pyramidalis, is earlier in flower, and the flowers are darker. The author described it as a species, I would have preferred the subspecies rank. The clan is wider spread in Italy, e.g. in Promontorio del Gargano it has already been found.
