Allium palentinum aus den Gebirgen im zentralen Norden Spaniens unterscheidet sich von Allium senescens subsp. montanum z.B. durch folgende Details: Der Stängel ist rund, nicht kantig. Die Stiele der drei inneren Staubgefäße der weiter geöffneten Blüte sind nach unten verdickt, und weisen unten auch einen Zahn auf, was in Fig. 4 zu sehen ist.

The stipes of the three inner stamens in the wider opened blossom are thickened in the lower part, and have also a tooth in the lowest part, which can be seen in Fig. 4.
