The species name of Taraxacum plumbeum comes from the attribute that the inner calyx is tinged lead-gray in the lower part. In the photos Fig. 2, 3, 7, 20 and 21 taken in spring, this is present but hardly visible, but in the photos Fig. 26 to 28 taken in autumn it is striking. The fruits of Taraxacum plumbeum are brick-red. | ||
