Spergularia rubra is the most common Sea Spurrey with pink petals in Central Europe. Like Spergularia media and Spergularia rupicola it has typically 10 stamens (6 to 10), while Spergularia marina has typically only 5 stamens (2 bis 9). The petals of Spergularia rubra are almost as long as the sepals. The plant has glandular hairs in the flower area, but is bare in the lower part. | ||
