The valves of subspecies silvestris of the Broad-Leaved Dock Rumex obtusifolius are entire or have only very short teeth. The teeth of the other subspecies are much longer. The leaves of Rumex obtusifolius subsp. silvestris are tall and glossy. This subspecies is an Eastern-European plant, which in Central Europe reaches the Western limit of its distribution area. | ||
