   KUNTH:  Karl Sigismund Kunth (1788 - 1850), German botanist who described many of the plants which HUMBOLDT brought from Southern America
   L.:  Carl von Linné (Linnaeus, 1707 - 1777), Swedish naturalist who introduced the binary naming system for plants and animals
 

Etymology:
   Poa:   poa = forage grass
   infirma:   unhealthy (pale color of green parts)
 

Poa infirma is a small grass of up to 15 cm size, which is rather striking due to its light green color. It originates from Southern and Western Europe. I found it in a flower pot from a garden market.
