The Pale Thistle Broomrape lives on different plants of genus Cirsium and Carduus. The other subspecies Orobanche reticulata subsp. reticulata, of which the blossoms are darker, lives on Carduus defloratus, Carlina acaulis, as well as species of genus Knautia and Scabiosa. | ||
