Ornithogalum kochii is a rather tiny member of the Ornithogalum umbellatum agg. aggregate.
Its flower branches are not +/- horizontal as at the larger members of the aggregate,
but rise obliquely upwards, giving the impression of a rather narrow inflorescence.
The filaments of the inner and the outer petal circle under the pollines are differently wide,
they are linear below and acuminate above (see e.g. Fig. 2).
The ridges at the ovary are rounded at the top.
The leaves are only 2 to 3 mm wide and are often already withered by the time the plant is blooming.
Ornithogalum kochii is a plant of the Mediterranean and of South-Eastern Europe,
but along the Elbe in the East of Germany there are such or very similar plants, too,
which I haven't seen myself yet.
