Lysimachia clethroides is an East Asian Loosestrife which is rather rarely planted in gardens. As early as in the early 1970s, when volume 3 of 'Flora Europaea' was written, the plant was already naturalized in the Netherlands. Now it appeared on a grassy bank of a path near Kirspe in the western Sauerland far away from gardens, too. | ||
