Etymology:
   Limonium:   leimon = meadow
   hyblaeum:   from Monti Iblei (Sicilia)
 

This is a garden escape which is ocurring at the coasts of East Sussex and Dorset, and especially at Rottingdean. It is originated from Sicily.
