Diese Unterart des Winter-Schachtelhalms Equisetum hyemale stammt aus Nordamerika und Ostasien, und wird in Europa von Gärtnereien als Zierpflanze verkauft. Sie kann in Mitteleuropa verwildern. Die Pflanzen sind in allen Dimensionen größer und die stärker weiß hautrandigen Zähne der Blattscheiden bleiben länger erhalten, bevor sie abfallen. This subspecies of the Rough Horsetail Equisetum hyemale is native to North America and East Asia, and is sold in Europe by nurseries as an ornamental plant. It can naturalize in Central Europe. The plants are taller in all dimensions and the more white-skinned sheath teeth remain longer before they decline. | ||
