With a petal length of about 5 mm, Epilobium ciliatum subsp. adenocaulon belongs to the smaller flowered species, the flowers are pink. The stem is at least in the upper part glandular hairy. The bracts are much smaller than the middle stem leaves. The leaves of the group of the Fringed Willowherbs are finer sawn than in other willowherbs with sawn leaf margins. As Epilobium brachycarpum also the group of the Fringed Willowherbs Epilobium adenocaulon, Epilobium ciliatum, and Epilobium glandulosum are neophytes coming from America. | ||
