The flower of Crocus chrysanthus can be light yellow or white, often the outer petals have a blackish or blue drawing. It is a rather delicate Crocus, its leaves have a width of about only two millimeters. It comes from Southeastern Europe and Turkey. Since 1841 several sorts were bred and named for garden culture, some of the names are noted in brackets in the caption below the photos. | ||
