The Orange Tree came into being as a breeding based on Pomelo (Grapefruit) Citrus maxima and Mandarin Citrus reticulata. Its origin is China or Southeast Asia. In Southern Europe it is cultivated only since the 15th century, while the Bitter Orange Citrus x aurantium has already been verified 400 years earlier. | ||
