Many trees of the Horse Chestnut Aesculus hippocastanum are damaged by the Leaf-Miner Moth Cameraria ohridella geschädigt, which causes the leaves to become brown prematurely. We saw an extreme example in Motovun (Istria, Croatia) where one of the damaged trees in August grew blossoms from distress (two last photos). | ||
