berica: | from the Colli Berici in Province Vicenza (Italy) | ||
Anacamptis berica has been described by DORO from the Colli (hills) Berici in the Italian Province of Vicenza. It has bigger flowers than Anacamptis pyramidalis, is earlier in flower, and the flowers are darker. The author described it as a species, I would have preferred the subspecies rank. The clan is wider spread in Italy, e.g. in Promontorio del Gargano it has already been found. |
